Project Pajero

Sunday 19 July 2009
Over the next 5 months I want you to follow this exciting project. My mate Tony has just retired, he wants to do the Grey Nomad thing and see Australia and I’ve talked him into doing it in a 4WD to expand his horizons and the places he can visit. BUT – with the current economic decline and with Super taking a huge hit, Tony and his lovely wife Carol only have a very limited budget. In fact Tony said, “Well Vic, I can do this, if you can find me a 4WD that will do the trip but it can’t cost any more than $10,000!”

Well that nearly stumped me, as you might have learnt from your trips away with me, I put reliability at the top of my MUST HAVE list.

So, the question is, can you buy reliability for $10,000?

Read our story and follow our trials and tribulations as we search for a vehicle and then realise that we do need a few aftermarket 4WD extras to make this project work. Tony and Carol leave for an around Australia trip in late August, so the race is on to find the 4WD, get it fitted out and get T&C on their way to a fantastic adventure all on a strict budget.

And guess what! You will be able to follow their every move on their epic trip via our fantastic SPOT Tracking device courtesy of GPSOZ www.gpsoz.com.au

You can see how SPOT works as you follow Wayne and Eric on their outback safaris, just click on the relevant link on my Home page, and from September T&C will have SPOT tracking their every move for you to watch.

But, right now, we need some sponsorship to help fit out the vehicle I have found (more on that real soon).
