Stockton Beach (1 Day)
This trip will take you to the wonderful sand hills of Stockton Beach, north of Newcastle.
The sand hills of this area are immense and form an awesome backdrop for a day of sand driving. We visit an old shipwreck stranded on the shore line, learn of the history that averted an invasion in World War II, visit Tin City and challenge the shifting sand of the 30 meter high sand hills.
This is a great trip for the family, the kids just love rolling down the steep dunes. We use the day as a sand driving skill learning day as well as explaining the incredible natural and man made features of the beach.
We will show you how to master sand driving, a must if you are planning a trip to Fraser Island and have heaps of fun at the same time.
Join Great Divide Tours, one of the few tag-along tour companies licensed by the traditional owners and National Parks to conduct 4WD tag-along tours on the Stockton Dunes.
